NOTHING JUSTIFIES AN IMMORAL ACT

One issue with being a writer is that I tend to write about everything that happens around me.

On a group chat on one social media platform, someone posted an article condemning a particular TV show because it is promoting immorality. Another person stood up to say that there are a lot of people who find the show interesting and won’t want to miss a sensitive scene out of it, and what another person finds irritating might be cool to him/her. he/she adds that there are two sides of a coin.

I don’t know anything about this TV program neither do I watch it so I can’t oppose or support it.

My issue is when someone justifies an immoral act by saying it’s okay because there are two sides of a coin or “one man’s meat is another man’s poison.”

Sin is sin whether there are more than two sides of a coin or not. Sin is sin whether you find it cool and interesting or not. Nothing excuses or justifies an immoral act.

SIN IS SIN.
